Tristan is a Web Design Specialist with over nine years of experience developing content for the Internet.During his studies at Boston University, Tristan split his time between studying film and digital editing and holding Web production positions at Boston's WHDH-TV & Loci Web Magazine.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science, Tristan went to work for Genuity (formerly GTE Internetworking/BBN), the company that designed and implemented the ARPANET, the Internet's forefather. At Genuity, Tristan worked as a Production Specialist in the Web Services department. He headed up site redesigns of the company's intranet & extranets, the design of a complete knowledge management system, a streaming media program, and the redefinition of the company's intranet structure.
Following a postgraduate study in graphic design at The Massachusetts College of Art, Tristan moved to Portland to found ad loc. design, where he specializes in site architecture, design, and usability.
Kevin is a Web Application Developer with more than seven years of experience working at leading companies including KPMG, Genuity (formerly GTE Internetworking/BBN), and FairMarket.
He holds a Bachelor of Science from Boston University and has had formal technical education in Visual Basic and C at Northeastern University. Kevin has also completed training programs in C# .Net, ASP, and Principles of Component Design.
The dynamic nature of the Web industry has provided him with diverse professional experiences including the following projects:
Most recently Kevin has been heavily involved in Microsoft .Net technology. Specifically, he has been working with another developer to architect, develop, and document a comprehensive set of .Net Web Service APIs using C#.
- Designed and implemented a user registration system for a highly trafficked ecommerce auction site.
- Co-led a project to internationalize an enterprise application to allow multilingual and multi-locale support.
- Led the production efforts of a complete redesign of a high-profile corporate Web site.
Kevin plans to continue to focus his strong development skills and knowledge toward the .Net Framework and its associated programming methodologies.
Nakita is in charge of keeping everything moving here at ad loc. design. She watches over each and every project and warmly greets all visitors as soon as they arrive.
